Rice Bubbles
What people in the U.S. call Rice Krispies, people in Australia and New Zealand call Rice Bubbles. Both cereals use the characters of Snap! Crackle! and Pop! as mascots and both cereals have been promoted as making a Snap! Crackle! and Pop! sound when milk is added.
A 1967 Australian ad for the cereal read, "Wake up to the happy sound of Kellogg's Rice Bubbles. Every Snap! Crackle! Pop! you hear is a grain of nourishing rice bursting with hearty goodness and fun and crisp, delicious flavor."
