This product is described on the box as a "toasted high fiber corn cereal." It's sometimes branded as a "Quaker Essentials" cereal.

The first five ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are corn flour, corn bran flour, sugar, oat flour and coconut oil.

As of 2011, each 3/4 cup serving had 90 calories, 1 gram of total fat (0.5 saturated), 5 grams dietary fiber, 8 grams sugar and 2 grams protein.

The original 'Corn Bran' before they added the 'crunchy' to the title was the best. Whatever they're selling now holds none of the joy of the original.

I used to love this cereal. I started eating it in college and probably thought I was being healthy. Anyway, only one store near where I live carried it and now I can't find it anywhere. I assume that it was discontinued. Was a great cereal. My 'awesome' rating is for the old cereal as I remember it.

I had to comment... I too used to love CORN BRAN... I googled it and this Quaker Corn Crunch came up like it was the same. It is not, so don't fall for it. Quaker needs to take this cereal back. It is not CORN BRAN so bring it back please!
