Total: Whole Grain
Total Whole Grain is what original Total Cereal is called today (with a few tweeks to the original recipe).
Total Cereal was first introduced in 1961. It was the first cereal to contain 100% of the minimum daily requirements for 8 vitamins, as recommended by the U.S. Government.
In 2008, Total's official website described Total Whole Grain like this:
All the wholesome goodness and nutty flavor of 100% whole grain wheat flakes with 100% of the Daily Value of 12 vitamins and minerals you'll need all day long. That includes 100% of the Daily Value of calcium. It's the only leading cereal with that kind of nutrition and flavor in the same box."
Company Description: Officially created in 1928, General Mills traces it's history back to the 1860's and the ownership of two flour mills. Since then, the company has become the world's 6th largest food company - marketing to over 100 countries... Read on and see all cereals from General Mills

Why can I not find Total whole grain cereal in the Detroit area? It has been tagged 'Temporarily Unavailable' at Kroger for about three consecutive months. Is this a production problem or is Kroger just not carrying this product? But I haven't been able to find it at any other groceries either!
