Bear Naked Peanut Butter Granola
This cereal appears to have been discontinued. It no longer appears on the Bear Naked Inc. website.
It was a honey-sweetened, all-natural, peanut butter flavored granola with peanuts and coconut.
The first seven ingredients listed on the nutrition panel were whole grain oats, honey, canola oil, peanuts, peanut butter, brown rice syrup and whole grain crisp rice.
According to the see-thru pouch package, each serving provided 14 grams of whole grain.
In 2009, this granola was part of a nationwide recall. It contained peanuts pieces from a Texas plant that presented a Salmonella contamination risk. No illnesses were reported.
Company Description: This company was founded in 2002 by Brendan Synnott and Kelly Flatley as a natural and organic food company. In 2007, it was sold to Kellogg's Kashi division.
