This cereal was described on Weight Watcher's website as "crunchy clusters of wholegrain flakes, crisp rice, fiber sticks, and soy."
A press release dated February 23, 2005 announced the introduction of Banana Almond Medley and 4 other Weight Watchers brand cereals. The following is select text from that press release:
"Weight Watchers International, Inc. -- the global leader in providing healthy and effective weight-management services -- today announced the introduction of Weight Watchers branded meal, snack and dessert products developed in partnership with noted food manufacturers.
"The breads, cereals, chocolate candies, ice cream treats, muffins and snack cakes meet the needs of weight-conscious consumers by offering the best balance of great taste and sensible choices. The products are consistent with Weight Watchers philosophy of enjoying a variety of options while managing body weight, making wise food choices and practicing portion control. The manufacturing partners include George Weston Bakeries Inc. (breads), Organic Milling Co. (cereals), Whitman's (chocolate candies), Wells' Dairy (ice cream treats) and Dawn Food Products, Inc. (snack cakes and muffins)...
"The new products, which are available -- or will be available soon -- at major retail locations nationwide, provide consumers the benefit of Weight Watchers unparalleled experience in helping people address their weight-management needs. The Weight Watchers brand provides assurance that the POINTS(R) values and nutritional information are accurate; the products taste great; and the products are appropriately portion controlled, yet satisfying.
"Weight Watchers branded cereals are delicious, a good source of fiber (between four and 10 grams per serving), contain no trans fats and tend to have less sugar than regular cereals (between 0 and 11 grams per serving). The nutritional values vary across the product line, which includes Banana Almond Medley, Cinnamon Cluster Crunch, Flakes 'n Fiber with Oats, Honey Almond Crisp with Real Blueberries and Vanilla Puffed Wheat with Almonds."

By Where U.B. I cannot find ANY Weight Watchers cereals in any local grocery stores anymore. I live in zipcode 46742. Can you help me locate any kind of this cereal? It has always been a favorite.
