Introduced in 2006
The complete name of this limited edition cereal was Ice Age 2: The Meltdown Cereal. It was described on the front of the box as a "frosted multi-grain ice cube-shaped cereal with acorn-shaped marshmallows." The cereal was released in conjunction with the 2006 animated film Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.
The character featured on the front of the box is called Scrat, a prehistoric sabre-toothed squirrel obsessed with gathering and burying acorns. Scrat is voiced in Ice Age 2: The Meltdown by one of the films Executive Producers, Chris Wedge. Wedge was the director of the the original Ice Age film.
The first 3 ingredients listed for Ice Age 2: The Meltdown Cereal were sugar, corn flour and marshmallow bits.
In 2012, Post gave us a cereal for the 3rd Ice Age sequel called Ice Age: Continental Drift cereal.

I loved this cereal! Was my absolute favorite! Wish they would make it again. I'd buy them all from the store and stock up. Please bring this cereal back!

The box was adorable. My kids loved the cereal, but I only let them have it on the weekend - too much sugar.

I missed this one when it came out. Love the box. The cereal looks like it probably tasted like Lucky Charms.
