Introduced in 1999
Limited-edition seasonal version of Lucky Charms cereal featuring the following "holiday marshmallows": pine trees, stockings, candy canes, snowmen, ornaments, wreaths and presents.
General Mills introduced the first holiday version of Lucky Charms in 1990 or 1991 under the name Holiday Lucky Charms. That seasonal cereal transformed into Winter Lucky Charms around 1999.
A holiday version of Lucky Charms doesn't come out every year. During years without a specifically named seasonal cereal, it is common to see winter or holiday scenes on boxes of regular Lucky Charms during November and December.
The website theimpulsivebuy.com has a review of the cereal in its 2005 incarnation.
The following box is from 1999. That year, the marshmallows were referred to as "Rudolph Holiday Marshmallows" and a Free Color-Changing Rudolph Static Cling Sticker was included in each box.
