KOMBOs Cereal came in three varieties Orange-Flavored, Chocolate-Flavored and Strawberry Flavored. The mascot who appears boxes for all three varieties was Blue Gnu, a striped-horn gnu in a cool blue sports coat.

Chocolate Kombos was super delicious! I was so disappointed when it disappeared, but maybe it's for the best since it was highly addictive and therefore I overate it. I've never liked any other chocolate cereal, only this one. I no longer eat any sugary cereals, but if this one came back, I would eat it for dessert on occasion.

The cereal was good, and the commercials stick in my memory. The Blue Gnu entered sliding down a slide while blowing a horn off key "gnn-Auhhhhh!"

I LOVED this stuff!!! I never tried the orange or strawberry flavors, but I definitely remember the chocolate being a favorite of mine as a child.
