New Crispy Oatmeal & Raisin Chex brand cereal combines rich, crispy oatmeal with sweet, sun-ripened raisins for an excitingly different taste sensation your customers just won't find in any other cereal on the market.

Television commercials for the cereal began airing on November 21, 1983. These ads described Crispy Oatmeal & Raisin Chex as "the first crunchy cereal with raisins" and featured the tag line, "Chex is making noise with oatmeal!"

Company Description: Ralston was originally part of The Ralston-Purina Company which was formed in 1902. The name Ralston stems from a minor social movement in the late 19th Century called Ralstonism - created by Webster Edgerly. I truly miss this cereal. I ate it every day. When I couldn't find it at the store, I asked management what happened. I was told that they could not get it any more. I even called the company and was told that they were not making it any more. Today with a new box I think it would sell quite well.

I wish this cereal could come back. I remember liking it a lot. I put raisins in other Chex cereals and it was never as good.

Forgot about this one. It was in our area for less than a year. Do they even make just Oatmeal Chex anymore? I'd love to see it make a comeback.
