This bagged cereal from Quaker was created to compete with Kellogg's Apple Jacks Cereal (and to a lesser degree Malt-O-Meal's Apple Zings Cereal). In 1998, a bag of Apple Zaps cost about 75 cents less than a box of the more recognizable Apple Jacks.

Where did this cereal go? Man I loved it! It was so crunchy that my gums would hurt after every bowl.

Please for the love of God bring back Apple Zaps. That was and still is my favorite cereal. I will stop eating all other cereal just to have a bowl of Apple Zaps.
