A television ad introducing this cereal put it this way:
It crackles when you crunch... New Post Corn Crackos... the who family will go for these sweet twists of golden corn cereal... cracking with energy and crackling crisp.
The original box in 1967 described Corn Crackos as "A Deliciously Sweetened Cereal Made From Corn, Oat And Soy Flour... It's crackly when you crunch!!!"
Company Description: Founded by C.W. Post, the company began in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan under the name Postum Cereals. Their first product was a coffee substitute called Postum.
