Honey Gone Nuts Granola
According to one box, this cereal is "made with whole grain oats" and it's a "good source of fiber & protein." The oats are sweetened with honey. The nuts in the mix are almonds, cashews and walnuts... and there's a lot of them.
Company Description: Based in Santa Cruz, California, Breadshop Natural Foods is part of The Hain Celestial Group, that same parent organization responsible for Health Valley and Arrowhead Mills cereals... Read on and see all cereals from Breadshop Natural Foods

Why is Honey Gone Nuts Granola by Breadshop Natural Foods only sold in 25 pound boxes for more than $120 a box? Why don't they sell this granola in standard-size cereal boxes, at standard prices, and in grocery stores nationwide? And why has the taste and quality reportedly declined? I read that the ownership of this product changed - but why did this granola get messed up for the common customer?

Breadshop's Honey Gone Nuts has been my daily (and FAVORITE) breakfast for more than 30 years! I love it when it tastes fresh and crunchy, it has NO raisins and lots of nuts! I would easily give it 5 stars. However, during the past 3 or 4 months (I buy about 5 pounds a month), it's been stale and tastes "off" and there are way too many bad-tasting nuts in it. Either they're making it with old, expired, rancid nuts and oils to start with, or the store is keeping it stored way too long. I would give this situation about 2 stars. I want my breakfast back!

Excellent cereal! Unfortunately, it's no longer available where I used to get it (Guido's in Great Barrington, MA).
