Udi's Hawaiian Granola
Introduced in 2006
This granola gets it's Hawaiian flavor from ginger-toasted macadamias, pineapple, and coconut. According to the company, "you can feel the warm sunshine in each bite."
Udi's, which is based in Denver, CO, uses locally produced honey from the Colorado Honey Company to sweeten their granolas.
According to a press release, the recipe for Udi's Hawaiian Granola was inspired by a friend of a company executive who visited Udi's bakery with a sample of ginger-toasted nuts.

You must like ginger to really appreciate this cereal. And if you do... Yummy!

I love the cereal except for the pineapple chunks -- they are too hard to chew.
