The box for this cereal indicated that it was "gluten & nut free", "(a) good source of whole grain." and it had "30% less sugar" than the leading brand. The cereal pieces were O-shaped and lightly frosted, just like General Mills' Frosted Cheerios cereal.

This cereal is now discontinued, along with two other Perky O's cereals: Apple Cinnamon Perky O's and Original Perky O's.

Two other Perky's cereal are still being sold by the Enjoy Life company (as of 2011): Perky's Crunchy Rice and Perky's Crunchy Flax.

The need to bring back the GF Perky O's and Frosted O's. They were great. Nothing compares. Didn't know they stopped production.
