Cereals from
Nestle
Founded in 1860, Nestle is a multinational packaged food company headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. In 1984, Nestle acquired the American food company Carnation. In 1989, Nestle and General Mills formed Cereal Partners Worldwide to market cereals worldwide. In 2002, Nestle got it's hands on the Ralston Purina company. But by that time, Ralston's cereal products had already been acquired by General Mills by way of a spin-off from Ralcorp Holdings.Today, Nestle is still active in cereal production, but primarily in non-U.S. markets.
The Mr Breakfast Cereal database is comprised primarily U.S. cereals. Nestle offers many more cereals than are found here. The Nestle cereals in our database are there because they 1) share something in common with a U.S. cereal or 2) they are often wrongly shown on U.S. cereal lists and we wanted to set the record straight.
