This box of King Vitaman Cereal from Quaker had a send-away offer for The Kings Ring, a 3-D ring with a secret compartment. The back of the box has a comic with kids musing about the incredible legends that could have created the ring.

The king, who looks almost Pope-like and serious compared to the simple drawing of him on the front, tells the kids that the ring isn't ancient, it's a "wonder of modern science... a hologram... a three-dimensional photograph of me."
