New Product Review:
Kellogg's Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes look and feel just like traditional Kellogg's Frosted Flakes. When you open the box, you get a hearty whiff of pumpkin spice - the most apparent of which is ginger.
Eaten dry, you notice nutmeg and a hint of cinnamon. But mostly, you notice that the cereal is super sweet - maybe even more sweet than traditional Frosted Flakes. The texture is familiar and nice.
Eaten with milk, the pumpkin spice flavor gets toned down leaving you with the Frosted Flakes flavor you know and love with just a whisper of pumpkin spice. Personally, I kind of liked that. Pumpkin Spice is rarely enjoyable if there's too much of it. The flakes have a nice crispness which lasts for about 3 minutes in milk before becoming pleasantly limp.
In a world and a season where everything is suddenly pumpkin spice, this cereal offers nothing novel or new. But it will remind you why traditional Kellogg's Frosted Flakes has remained so popular for so long. This new cereal is fine. I suspect most people will enjoy it.

I ate this cereal this morning and really enjoyed it. My kids loved the smell that wafted from the top of the box. They eagerly ate this cereal.
