I used to worked there, my worst employer ever. They had cameras in the back because they are always thinking one is gonna steal from them. I could not stop for a minute w/o them staring and telling me what to do next. They would rather throw away bread and other left overs than allowing the employee to eat it. Sergio, who was in charge, was a crazy mother_f_er. He would literally run every time the lady or the guy farted his name. He was super pushy with the rest of the stuff to please the owners. The owners were so greedy they would get part of the tips for themselves. The damned korean lady was another pushy ass_ wanting all so damned clean and expecting us to run for every freaking thing, even customers would tell me how they noticed those things. I won't work for koreans, asian or whatever similar.

The only reason I go to Christy's is because I work in the building. They manage to mess up my order and the meal every time, unless it's soup. Their prices are extremely high given the quality of food that they offer and the owner is simply clueless.
They need to spruce up their sandwiches and salads with a few easy substitutes and fixes such as offering arugula or spinach for their salads and other fun ingredients like real cheeses and veggies aside from cucumbers and tomatoes.

I have been working in downtown and the 888 building for over 4 years. This place use to be so much better under the previous owners. Notice I didn't say great just better. The current owners are not knowledgeable and not very friendly. I usually call my orders in because it takes to long when you walk in. They usually rush you off the phone before you are even finished ordering. The pleasant thing about this place is Sergio who works behind the counter. He is running in five different directions trying to make all customers happy and getting orders fixed which the owners ALWAYS screw up.

The recent poor reviews are right on target. I have not been able to fill an accurate order at Christie's in the last several visits. They never put what I want on my sandwich, even though it is written on the receipt and repeated verbally by the staff. They just don't understand the orders.

We have lunch meetings at our company pretty often and loved to order from Christie's as it was one of the favs around here - but now it's almost impossible just to place a simple order! The new owners have no idea what they are doing!! It's so sad because they used to be so good - we no longer use Christie's :( It's too much of a hassle.

Christie's was just sold to 2 ladies who have no concept of customer service. Its really quite unfortunate because Christie's was one of my favorite lunch spots. The food was delicious and healthy, and the previous owners would always greet me with a smile. Now I get a blank stare, followed by a confused look when I order a turkey sandwich.

A month ago, I would have given them the highest ratings in all categories. Now, I am a Nazo's customer.

Be wary of the stingy, hire-pressure sales Asian couple who own this place. They skimp on their sandwich fillings - go to Nazo's, east up 8th st. Good cookies though.

The area around Staples in Downtown Los Angeles , there’s only a few places to grab one of those nice breakfast. Christie’s is one of them and it offers an array of pastries and bakery items. I grab a bite there only because its close to me since it’s a little pricey but the food is always top notch. Coffee there isn’t bad either since it is a coffee stop.
