This place is one word: horrible. The food/drinks may be good, but I didn't even get to try the food since NONE of the servers came to help us. We waited for them to clean the table, which they said would take 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, we sat at the dirty table with old food, spills, etc. and they still would not clean up or even greet us. After hailing down and getting up to ask the servers why it was taking so long, we just left. Over 30 minutes wasted there. BAD SERVICE!! Beware! I was hoping for a quaint place (which the decorations are), but it is not worth it for the horrendous service.

Based on the crispy perfection of their grilled cheese sandwich -- far and away the best in LA -- you might think that Soda Jerks would serve up a helluva breakfast. Just shows you not to jump to conclusions. The coffee is so-so, the eggs are greasy, the pancakes are floury and there's this fiendish machine that startles you with choo-choo noises -- murder on a hangoever. If you're looking for a spot for a leisurely chow after a Saturday night out, give Soda Jerks a miss. This is a restaurant you should only hit during lunchtime.
