Good place for an old-fasioned southern-style breakfast. The service is friendly and usually fairly fast. I especially like their country fried steak and eggs and their biscuits and gravy. For side dishes, I like their sausage patties and the way they do their hash browns like a casserole.

I'm newly transplanted and after discovering Cracker Barrel (the original store!) I never eat anywhere else. All meals are down-home good, but breakfast is awesome! One of my fav's is the chicken-fried chicken with biscuits, gravy, grits, fried apples or potato casserole. Outstanding, to say the least. Wonderful gift shop and country atmosphere.
