In summer 2010 I went to Lucilles after being a regular costumer for 6 years. I ordered shrimp and grits, and I got grit soup with tasteless shrimp...the waitress saw how bad the food was and sereved it anyway!! It was terrible, and I was appalled that the place has gone so down hill! The manager just said sorry and rand me up. Horrible!!!

Food is good. Wait staff is good and service is okay. I like Boulder's Lucille's better.

Overall --food, service, atmosphere-- the best breakfasts I've ever had, including those in New Orleans. The biscuits and coffee, alone, are worth the visit! Every time friends come by, I take them to Lucille's. Simply the best!!!

We just moved away from the Fort Collins area. We will really miss having breakfast at Lucile's. The coffee was incredible and plentiful. The food is wonderful. Lucile's menu accommodated my vegetarianism without a problem. It is a great place to have breakfast on the weekend with good friends. Get there early!

I first ate at Lucile's in Fort Collins about a year ago, and I have been hooked ever since. If I had to choose one place to eat the rest of my life, this would be it. Though I have heard great things about all of the available dishes, the Eggs Ponchatrain is, in my opinion, one of the best breakfasts in Colordao. I cannot say enough about Lucile's- great food, great service, great atmosphere... A+

Ahh, Luciles! What an excellent place for a breakfast, whether it be a lazy sunday morning, or closer to Friday afternoon. The food is wonderful, the staff considerate, and the atmosphere lovely. Don't skip it and go to IHOP or something, this is the real deal!

The food was OK but went for a special occasion and was surprised how much you can spend for breakfast.
The service was slow and Had to ask for refills of coffee and asked to reheat the coffee because it was warm not hot. I did like the surroundings. Nice selection of choices on the menu.

The Boulder Lucile's is good, but the Fort Collins one is incredible. The food is to die for, the service is impeccable, and the environment is warm and charming. I especially liked the beignets and the friendly wait staff. I recommend this restaurant to anyone with a big appetite and an appreciation for good food!

Lucille's is in a fun old Victorian and serves breakfast in several small rooms as well as the porches - one outside one in warm weather. Very charming.
I always need extra lemon juice to jazz up the hollandaise sauce.
One would be hard-pressed to find a heart-healthy option here - same as in New Orleans!

This is honestly one of the best restaurants I have had the good fortune to find. The food is beautifully prepared and hot when you get it. I always order either the praline waffle or a complete meal which includes biscuits and gravy, beans, and grits. Since I am not a big fan of the latter, the staff has been very agreeable about substituting its fried potatoes, which are excellent. I love the spicy tea, as well as the coffee. The beignets are great and the biscuits are light, fluffy, and huge. If you are ever in this area, don't miss out on a meal worth driving out of the way to eat.

The menu can be a bit pricey, but for your buck, you get a gourmet breakfast experience. Their Creole-themed menu offers several delectable poached egg dishes (usually with creamy hollandaise, YUM), as well as fluffy buttermilk biscuits, oatmeal, strawberries and cream, and fantastic praline waffles. The last time I went there, I had Eggs Jennifer...scrumptious wilted spinach with tomato, poached egg, and hollandaise on an English muffin. I highly reccomend this for a leisurely, fancy Sunday brunch (and their lunch menu is also fantastic!)
