The hostess seated the two of us at the far end of the dining room, and we were promptly forgotten about. They weren't busy. After six minutes, a waitress came and took our order for coffee and water. The hostess came with coffee, but no water. We asked her for the waters, and she brought one. After eight more minutes I got the attention of the hostess and asked if she could get the waitress to come take our food order, and she replied "I can take your order", and walked off to find an order pad. After we gave the order, the waitress finally reappeared to ask us to repeat the order to her.
I had asked for hot sauce with my sausage gravy and biscuits, so the first girl brought two bottles, followed by the second lady, who brought two more bottles. At this point I thought "This is going to be a really bland gravy if it takes 4 bottles of hot sauce to give it any taste". I was right.
