I think they have great portions for the price. I live around the corner from this place and go their often, or get take out. Service is always very pleasant.

They need a website ASAP, or some major updating of their Facebook.

Now that they have added a lot more room, i hope they do some modifications to the main area to make it more 50's or authentic.

I noticed all of the good reviews are old. I went to Maddy's yesterday. I sat and waited 20 minutes. The floor was dirty, the counter was dirty so I took a booth. I was ignored while the waitresses chatted with a group of men at the counter, dropping the "f" bomb, discussing politics. I had to be at work at 9 and ended up leaving. I was not even offered a cup of coffee or water. When I got up to leave, they apologized and came rushing over with the coffee pot. Who are you kidding?

The owner needs to get his head out of his ass and see what is going on. The waitresses suck. You have to wait so long for your food. Don't go here

I have been to Maddy's a few times now, and I have no complaints. As a vegetarian its hard to eat out, but they had enough choices to make me happy. I liked the grilled cheese and tomoto and i highly suggest the veggie burgers mmm.
As far as service goes though, it isnt bad. Everyone is pretty friendly.

i go to maddy's on a regular basis, and i must say, it is the best diner around. if you are are ever in the area, it is a must go. it is a real down to earth place with a great atmosphere and great food. the cook even comes out every once in a while to see how everyone likes the food. this place is great

The wait staff ignores you. The owner is busy whining about his personal problems and the cost of running a restaurant. The place is pretty dirty. They forget your drinks, the food is lukewarm, everyone is too busy gossiping to take care of the customers. I am never going there again, I've tried it a few times thinking I went on a bad day, but every day is a bad day there...
The owner complains so much, he should just get out of the business and sell to someone who cares......

clean and mostly quick service except when the waitress had a cigaret break ansd came back reaking of smoke. should not somkie at work then serve tables. thank you.

as a person who travels the quad-state area
[ny, nj, ct, pa], exploring breakfast venues.
i find maddy's diner to be an unique oasis
within a diverse working mans community.
the wait-staff is extremly aware of everyones
needs and desires. most of all the food is created just the way you like it.

Classic inexpensive hometown diner- Great value, great food! Sassy waitresses!Always great blackboard specials- try the kielbasa when its on, or any of the breakfast steaks. Beats ANY chain all to hell!
