I live in New York and do business in Fort Worth. I always stop at Paris Coffee Shop. The waitstaff are of the most friendly kind and the food will guarantee a full belly. I strongly recommend the cheese grits!

I have been eating at the Paris Coffee Shop since the 40s. In fact, one of my aunt's worked there during the 40s. Was and still one of the best and of course, a Fort Worth Icon.

Hmmm... seems like someone who works at this restaraunt wrote that last review. Although the lines may detour you from eating here, it is woth the wait. The coffee is good here.

The Paris Coffee Shop is THE place for breakfast in Fort Worth.

I frequent the Paris Coffee Shop for beakfast and lunch. The waitresses have that perfect combination of competence and sass. The owner personally arrives at the restaurant around 4:00 AM to make the pies for the day, and they are SPECTACULAR.

You will not find the Paris Coffee Shop on any tourist guides, but you can get some of the best local information about Fort Worth from practically anyone sitting at a nearby table, booth or barstool. Texas friendly is definitely spoken here!

Expect lines during the busiest breakfast and lunch hours, but don't fret... they move very quickly. An remember, though nobody will say anything, it is considered rude to dally at your table when you have finished eating and others are standing in line. Pay at the register and marvel at the bargain you just received.

Now take the money you saved and drive or take the bus a couple of miles to the Cultural District. Fort Worth has one of the nicest walker-friendly museum districts on the planet, and many of the exhibits are free. There are also flea markets, equestrian shows, and entertainment every weekend at the adjacent Will Rogers Memorial Center. Enjoy your stay!
