It's been about 5 years since my last visit. Loco moco is still very good...grilled hamburger versus fried. Banana-macadamia nut pancakes were delicious...especially with the coconut syrup. Young wait staff, but friendly and efficient...great view of the mountains and ocean, too.

I read some of the reviews here and on Trip Advisor. The place is GREAT! The food is plentiful and hearty. The granola is as advertised on Mr Breakfast, and my wife loved the hash. We are definitely going back! Haven't tried lunch, but the Happy Hour looks great with the most reasonable drink prices I have seen in Hawaii.

Joe's on the Green was one of the highlights of our first trip to Kauai. What a find!!! Loved the open-air atmosphere, service was great and food was true paradise. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast there 3 times during our week-long stay. My husband ordered the Anahola granola w/fruit and yogurt until I took it over. The next visit he made me order my own. Also, couldn't live without the french toast made with hawaiin sweet bread with a little coconut syrup. Instead of coffee, we enjoyed guava juice!

Can't wait to go back!

We spend 3-4 weeks a year in Kauai and visit Joe's as much as we can....the food is great! Joe and his wife are great hosts, the staff is very accommodating and we love the open air atmosphere. We will be going to Kauai in Septermer 2006 and can't wait to eat at Joe's....this year we plan to check out his dinner menu..Marti and David, San Diego

have eaten here many time and everything is great,scenery,food service and price.going back again this year and will go there for breakfast as much as possible

Beautiful place (for one who detests golf). Great staff. Great food. Try to make one of the evenings they serve dinner, where they show a genuine feeling for the island. Such nice people.

The food is deliscious, prices are great, staff is fabulous. The atmosphere is relaxed, but service is good. What more can you ask for? I will go back as often as I can. Loved it!

Since breakfast is my favorite meal out, I am always looking for a good value. I found this at Joe's. Fantastic breakfast, individually ordered, at less than $5 a person (in June 2000). Of course, the OJ cost more than the meal!! Beautiful open air setting overlooking the course and the mountains. Going back in 5 weeks for 2 weeks and will write an update when I return. They had wonderful pancakes, several varieties, with great and unique syrups. Crispy bacon and eggs made to order. Fresh fruit available, as well. Even gravy and biscuits (almost as good as what we have here in TN!). Not formal or fancy, but a great value, especially on Kauai!! Aloha. Vicki
