I've never actually been to Reid's but my father grew up in Newfane and he'd always rave about Reid's and the Lefrois Sauce. Then during one trip home, he brought back some sauce and OMG this sauce is the BOMB!!! I'd put it on burgers, fries, dogs, white hots...YUM YUM. Sadly, I ran out of the very last jar several years ago and my father has since passed away. I was recently reminded of the sauce so I began a quest to purchase it online and while the sauce itself is inexpensive it's going to cost a lot to have it shipped to IL. *sad face* Cheaper than a trip to Lockport though so I will suck it up and buy some soon!

My husband grew up in Lockport and we visited last week. I took our 3 kids there. For 5 people, everything (with drinks) was less than $20. The food was awesome...I could eat there everyday. My kid wish we had one in FL. We will definitely go there every time we are up north.

I was born in Lockport, and as a little girl my family would go there and the burgers and fries and milkshakes and oh yeah the hotdogs are all a unique taste of what my childhood memories are made of.When ever visiting family, Reid's is always the first place on our list to visit first!

I grew up eating white hots at Reids. Then moved to Florida and couldnt wait to go home to visit so i could get one or two of my favorite white hots. They are the best and have been for way over 50 years. Love that place. mmmmm Could use one now!

I grew up in Lockport and have since lived in NYC, New Jersey, Honolulu, DC and Maryland.... have yet to find a better hotdog than a Reid's whitehot with sauce a smothered with sauteed onions..... in fact had one last week while visiting family..... it ROCKS.... wish I had one now....

Reids is the best! I now live in Arizona but whenever I make it home Reid's is one of the first places i visit. And if I go too long without making a trip home, my grandma sends me a jar or two of the Le Frois sauce!!!!

This fast Food Drive In has been around before the word Drive In was first used.In the Summer you walk up & order @ open air windows,(it's Cool),It's enclosed in the winter.Reids opens @ 1030 am & closes around 8pm.Feed a family of 4 for around $7.00 or less.They serve Hot Burgers,Dogs(red or white hots),hot ham & cheese,fries,rings.Ask for the sauce on everything you order(it's red & very tastey) If you like onions ask for(Smothered)It means fried onions.There Milkshakes are great.I like the blackberry ones.They serve soft & hard Ice Cream in the Summer.Small eat in area or Picnic Tables are outside.Take your food across the bridge & sit @ the Park on the NYS Erie Canal & watch the Boats go by.
