cheer's is good, but there are better breakfast joints around.

im very suprised by the comment above about Jane, the server at Cheer's. She must of been having an off day. we eat there at least 3 times a week and she is always excellent and has a great attitude. Jane always makes us smile when we are in there. The whole staff in the morning is good -we never have any trouble. Remember serving is a very hard job. I wouldn't want to do it, would you?

Service on June 17, 2007 was awful. Every group that sat down after us was served before us. Eggs were not cooked properly, no silverware, salt or pepper.

We (2) have breakfast and lunch at cheers at least once a week. Yesterday, April 3,2007,we brought 4 other members of our family to have breakfast and the service provided by our waitress (Jane) was absolutely horrible. After taking our beverage order, she completely ignored us and waited on the male customers instead. I finally had to track her down and ask her to come to our table and take our food order. We ordered the breakfast special which in the past has been delivered within 10 minutes, but this time we had to wait almost 30 minutes before she finally got around to bringing our food, using the excuse that they were very busy. It was not any busier than normal so that excuse wasn't valid. In addition, we normally play "Club Keno" but found that very difficult because there was no bar server so we used the machine to purchase tickets. However, we couldn't collect any money because no one was available behind the bar to redeem the tickets for the whole time we were there, so I had to come back later to redeem them. The food is always good at Cheers and that is why we go there so often and make it a point to bring our out-of-town guests there.

The food is VERY GOOD, but the atmosphere is EXCELLENT!! Although this was here before the TV series, you get the feeling that the series was copied from this, as it seems "everyone knows your name".
