Been awhile since I been there (I moved out of the area) - but I have great memories of huge portions at very reasonable prices. Food is good - not fancy, not amazing - but definitely satisfying and a lot like home cooked.

Lebanon exit off I-40, through the square, left at 70 W 3rd house on left, Yellow building, small Barb's sign. Worth looking for!
Country breakfast from a cast iron skillet! Eggs the way you wanted them, Pork tenderloin cooked the way your Grandmother made it! Sausage gravy and biscuits, Pancakes bigger than your hat! Country boy breakfast with fried bologna!!! "Trash plate" is delicious and the coffee tasted better than most anywhere else!
Barb's is where matter-of-fact the locals go and out-of-towners too if they truly know what's good for them. Barb's doesn't go light on the calories or cholesterol, but it is a splurge-worthy breakfast treat! The chairs don't all match, and the cooking in the small kitchen flavors the whole place. If you'd been here before, they'd probably bring you your coffee first and ask you how you've been! You should visit Barb's, I recommend it!

Good prices for what you get. Hard to find this place though. Take a map.

You got to get off I-40 for this one, but if you happen to have the time and it's early morning, get off I-40 at the US70 exit and get in here! She opens up at 4:00 AM, and the food is worth it. Small parking lot...park in the School Board Warehouse lot...mismatched furniture, and a hand typed menu.
Pancakes that lay there and soak up syrup, hand cut home fries..try the "Trash Plate". Something you would make at home...sausage, hashbrowns, jalepenos, eggs, and I'm not even sure what else. Don't order the full size one unless you plan on a light lunch!!
Breakfast for two for under $10.
