Yes, you can depend on Cracker Barrel for a great meal. We stopped in around dinner time as we were passing through town and the toughest part was finding a place to park. The place was packed, but they got us seated in about 5 minutes. We ordered breakfast during the dinner rush, which is probably never a good idea and got our perfectly cooked and very hot breakfasts in almost no time. I don't know how they did it, but the kitchen must work like a Swiss watch! Kudos for the food and likewise for the friendly and rapid service.

Have always liked Cracker Barrel Restaurants but recently had an opportunity to raise my praise another knotch or two. A friend of mine took his mentally retarted grown daughter and sick wife to Cracker Barrel one night recently in Norman, Oklahoma for dinner. Just about the time the food came, his wife had a seizure, turned gray and stopped breathing, banging her head on the table. 911 was called by the restaurant immediately, his daughter was ussured into the gift shop by an alert waitress to avoid any further shock to her and his wife was revived by paramedics and taken to the hospital. The manager insisted on re-doing all three dinners (to go) and sent my friend on his way with three fresh meals, charging him nothing.
My hat's off to this wonderful caring staff in Norman, Oklahoma....thank you for your care!

One thing going for Cracker Barrel is consistency. I've been to Cracker Barrels in FL, TN, OK, MI, TX, AR, GA and MO. The food , quality and service are always the same. As for the food and service and quality, I have never walked away from a Cracker Barrel hungry or disappointed. For a chain restraunt I give them very high marks.
The Cracker Barrel off from I-40 and Meridian in OKC is no exception. Always good and always satisfying. Dinner, lunch and breakfast are as good here as any Cracker Barrel anywhere else.
Cudos to Cracker Barrel, a traveling tradition and always a great hometown experience. And they didn't even pay me for this!

Good food. But I liked the atmosphere better. It presented kind-of an old country store type atmosphere with old things on the walls, and it even had a store with souveneir type items in the front. I liked the food, and the store.
