Clean and well presented. Reasonable quality food. That's the good bit!!! On an order of Bacon, Sausage, Egg, Beans one slice toast and black coffee a charge of £6.85 (approx US$ 11.00) was requested! Admittedly there were 3 rashers of bacon, but this is an extortionate price for both the food and surroundings. This was on 3rd February 2010 and included the increase in VAT. What more can I say?!

Service with a smile, well more of a big belly laugh. The egg & bacon chef (Peter 'screwy' Driver) is a must see. Ask him why the chicken crossed the road if you visit.

I was lucky enough to live around the corner from this place for the 3 years that I was in England. One of the things I learned about the English is that they sure know how to put together a breakfast that you'll feel for the rest of the day. If it'll fit in the fryer, they'll fry it. Hell, they even fry bread. Their menus really should have a map to the local cardiologist on them.

In a land of superb breakfasts and people who love them, the Kesgrave Kitchen stands out as far and away the best breakfast I've ever had or even heard of. Its considerable reputation in the area is what got me in there in the first place. When I go back to England, my first morning there will be spent at the Kesgrave Kitchen, and they're not even open past 3PM. Do yourself a favor and try this place!
