Been there once and was not impressed. Too much money for just breakfast.

This place, just reopened by new owners, is the old Lantern Restaurant. Some redecorating has been started, appears to be a work in progress. I hope. Grill is out behind the counter where it can be seen like a real diner. Seven booths with four seats each and about ten stools. Talking maybe thirty-eight seats with only one waitress. Appears a family is running it and keeping down costs, ergo employees. Used to be an opening mid counter so wait staff could get out to the booths easier. Now in the new owner's wisdom that opening was replaced with the cash register. The one wait person, apparently a family member has to hustle now. All new china and steelware. One tiny thing I noticed right off was the salt was in the pepper shaker and vice versa. Large, heavy coffee cups, but I was not offered a refill of any type. My two over easy came out over well and well browned. Nor do they have a place to hang the orders, grill cook, an already nervous fellow, has to turn completely around and walk over to the counter where they are laid out. Place needs more wait staff, specially with the chute gone in the middle of the counter. Remember now, this is only my opinion and I could be wrong. Will I go back. Yes, in six months or so. I think the place has some potential.
