Cool old diner with a great sign. The outside kind of looks like the shop that the Sopranos would sit in front of. The food is standard greasy spoon old school diner stuff, but they always get my order right and it always tastes good. Prices for both breakfast and lunch are very good.

The prices are higher than you'd expect for a diner, but the portions are huge and the quality is outstanding (sides of hashbrowns and bacon, for example, are large enough to be shared). I have no problem paying what Ideal Diner charges for their excellent food and service. This place rocks.

Counter-only stool seating provides you with front row seats for watching the floor show - the fast order cook preparing your breakfast in Real-Time. The fabulous flavors are dropped onto your tiny 16 inches of counter-space real estate in an old-blue collar neighborhood that echoes of busier times. There are only a dozen or so stools - so you may have to wait - but the turn-over is fast.
