Huddle House, Bonne Terre,MO is consistently a good dining experience. It is a diner - nothing fancy, but the service is excellent and the food is quite good diner food. Breakfast is especially good and its usually humming at breakfast time. Eggs are cooked to order - so over medium is just that. Servers know the menu and keep my coffee cup full. Bottom line - you get good plain food, cooked to order and efficient friendly service for about as much as one of those pretend fast food meals. My only complaint is that it is not smoke-free; there is a nonsmoking section, but the place is so small you do get a whiff of smoke now and again. I'm glad we have this alternative to the pre-packaged fast food restaurants in the area. (Wish they had pancakes on the menu though.) jk

What a Diner should be. I LOVE Waffle Houses ... and still do, but Huddle's got'em beat! Nicer; decor clean and colorful; clean-cut courteous uniformed servers who actually know the menu items. Menu photos & descriptions big and easy to read and get the idea of what you're getting. Great portions. Breakfast served all the time. BIG omelets. Breakfast sandwiches. Great combo-plates. Innovative dishes - Philly-Steak Omelet is a favorite. Great coffee.
