The food is great here! They are often busy and the place looks a little run down, but the food and service are fabulous. There's a reason its usually packed - because the food is so good.

I have to say by far the worst place I have ever been in, I am greek and I had my family with me, I was waiting for 20 minutes and they did not serve me or tell me to write my name anywhere, they served two white families before me and I was waiting alot longer then they were. I would not reccomend this place to anyone! You should go to Pappy's right down the shopping center next to it. I went there and was very satisfied with the service and the meal! Never will I go back to J&M NEVER!

I have had a chance to visit every BREAKFAST RESTAURANT on this BAKERSFIELD web page. Some are actually pretty good. J & M's is the BEST of the lot. Sure the outside of the building is no 5 STAR. The inside is what you would expect on any busy highway, but how come you are going there? The food right. BAR-NONE this is the best. Go there by yourself, and I am willing to bet you will see some of your friends there. Go with your family and enjoy! Everything has been better than expected. You won't go wrong. Everything Very Fresh, very nice size portions. All the breakfast platters I have experienced are soooo good it's hard to describe!. Locals and visitors alike crowd this restaurant before doing whatever activity they do. There can be lines, so get there early. The servers are friendly and efficient and the coffee is not bad. J & M's is open for breakfast and lunch. M - S 5AM TO 2PM SUNDAY 6AM to 2PM. 10801 Rosedale Hwy. 661 589-3042.
