Food is great, service is great, the coffee keeps pouring. A gem of a place to have breakfast even though it doesn't look like anything on the outside

This is the grossest most DISGUSTING restaurant in San Diego for breakfast. I would never recommend this unless you are a truck driver on highway 5 and need a big parking spot. The food is completely foul and the place is filthy inside. I cant believe it is still open for business. Gross truck stop.

Good food. Fast service. Returned for the second day I visited San Diego. Put my diet on hold for the enjoyment of the moment. I'll be back the next time I visit San Diego!

I found food and service okay but I much prefer The Old Townhouse Restaurant in Ocean Beach. It pretty much serves the same food, same style of restaurant but the food is much nicer and the service and price is fabulous!

This breakfast house is very inexpensive and very tasty. Their daily specials run about $3.75 and you can get an omelete with potatoes, bread and a cup of joe for under $8.00. They only open in the mornings and it is definetly worth the wait on weekends. Their head cook has been with them for over 30 years and cooks like a madman.

We went on a Sunday and there was only about a 20 minute wait. We were greeted right away by our waitress. We split a fritata. It was large. The food was good and the choices were varied. Really enjoyed our food. Will certainly go back again.

Good food and lots of it. Great waitresses. It's loud inside, and there is a wait...but it's well worth it! We never miss Perry's when in the area.

Great food, but you will need to wait a little bit before you sit (unless you can eat at the counter!)

Great breakfast menu with anything from Mexican to Italian to Good Old American plates. Very reasonably priced, but do expect a wait as this is a favorite among many.

A San Diego landmark, built almost underneath the I-5/I-8 interchange. Serves only breakfast and lunch (hours: 6 am to 2 pm). Great waffles and pancakes. Eggs and hash browns have that hint of grease, just like Mom used to make at 6 am. Also check out their El Cajon location.
