This is a 'Tea-Room', not a restaurant... !!! IT IS NOT A BREAKFAST PLACE !! For heaven's sake, it doesn't even open for business until lunch time... Putting it on this website is ridiculous... My Red Hat ladies chapter used to have regular aftrnoon tea here, but several members objected to the mediocre, overpriced food, and the sometimes crabby attitude of Beverly, the owner... (The other good reviews must be by Beverly's relatives)

We've been going to the Vintage Tea Leaf for over two years now. The atmosphere is delightful. It's what I'd imagine an Olde English Parlor would be like. The Tea Mistress lavishly decorates for the different seasons and holidays, and the adjacent Garden Gift Shop has everything you could ever need for the Tea Lover or their properly appointed garden.
The Tea Leaf is open from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm Thursday through Monday, and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Large comfortable overstuffed chairs pull up to beatifully set tables. For the child in all of us, there are vintage Hats, and Boa's available to wear and a few special stuffed animals that might find their way to your table to make your tea party reminiscent of the magical ones we had in our youth.
The Vintage Tea Leaf is well worth many repeated visits. The relaxing atmosphere is just the prescription needed for the stresses of our busy lives.

This is an adorable Tea House for breakfast or brunch. Sit in one of their mismatched arm chairs with girly knick knacks all around you. You can pick from their vast assortment of teas (about $4 for a small pot)and you can't go wrong with ordering crumpets (look like small flat biscuits but these are baked in real butter and honey and then served with thick cream and strawberry jam). When you order tea you're told to go choose your own bone china tea cup from their huge selection. Plus you can choose a vintage hat and boa to wear for the occasion. There are many pastries and delights to order. Well worth the experience!
