Service okay, food can be pricey. Restaurant makes it sound like they serve Starbucks coffee as their regular coffe but not true, one needs to pay a premium to get it. They can penny and dime you to death for a decent breakfast.

Breakfast inside the restaurant today was okay. Brewed coffee is no longer Starbucks, only the specialty drinks. We also ordered a carryout, early, of the apple pancake. The order was overlooked, and we were supposedly given a new apple pancake ($8.95). When I arrived home, I saw that the outside was burnt, and the inside was still raw and the batter resembled the same batter as my Swedish pancakes. Moreover the specialty juice drink I had ordered (beet/orange) tasted like the specialty of the day (watermelon/orange). In addition, the drink was biting, tasting of orange oil. I believe whoever was making the juice today was throwing the whole orange into the juicer, or thinning the drink down with something like SunnyD.

I received a refund for the pancake, which I brought back, did not ask for a refund for the juice, which was consumed. I would warn against putting whole oranges in a juicer for two reasons: orange oil in the rind is an irritant; and unless the oranges are organic, the outer rind may still have pesticide residues. I did later call the owner to advise him against throwing whole oranges into the juicer. We paid approximately $41.00 for a breakfast for three, a luxury in these times. Especially in tough economic times, help needs to be well-trained without cutting corners for speed or quality.

Wheatfield is a guaranteed great breakfast for my family and friends....the new building is a vast improvement in terms of style and atmosphere. The service is always top-notch and the non-smoking building is greatly appreciated. They have a huge menu and a beautiful juice/coffee bar. The food is always outstanding,the menu has many satisfying and unique items, and the Paula'a Potatoes are a must. We love Wheatfield!

I came to this restaurant for breakfast on Mother's Day. I am sure one of the most busiest days. Our server was great, and took care of not only my family but made my 3 year old son feel like a "somebody." I will say that they had the best fresh fruit smoothies and fresh squeezed juices I have ever had. I will go back again, not only for the large portions of food, but for the drinks as well..

The service has declined since they moved into the larger building. I don't know why this restaurant is always so crowded because the food is not that special.

Here is an unusual restaurant with quality, quantity, and atmosphere. There menu is LARGE and quite extensive. They have wonderfully unusual items that are eggspertly carried out. The coffee refills are unlimited and your cup is never empty. Their portion sizes are huge. If ham is your thing this is your place. The ham steak is large enough for a family. Try something unusual here and I gaurentee you will not be dissapointed. Friendly service, great food, in a quaint setting, a gotta try kind of place. Kid freindly as well. Eggscellent.
