Annie's is a unique place to eat - you can definitely expect real home cooking by someone who really cares about satisfying her customers. As you walk in, expect a very pleasant "good morning" from people who really care about their customers. The portions are huge, the food always tastes great, the service is quick, and the prices are downright cheap. The coffee refills just keep coming too. This is definitely not a fancy place to bring someone to impress them. This is a place that you come to eat breakfast or lunch. This place is an absolute gem!!

The service was great but Annie is apparently only friendly to the regulars. My family and I felt very unwelcome. The bathroom was filthy and the food was average. We won't be returning.

The fact that this plce is not open on sundays speeks for itself. sunday is the biggest breakfast day of the week! Anyone who is endorsing this place is out of their mind. I feel that all the people who like it must be Clark students. So inturn anyone who would decide to go to Clark... I would not respect any decision made by that individual.

I have been going to Annie's for close to 15 years and there is not a diner in the world that compares to the atmosphere of this place. If you are looking for up scale dining, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a place where the service is friendly, warm and honetly, as truthful as your closest family will be, then this is the place for you. The food is fresh, the salsa is homemade and spicy as hell and Annie is one of the greatest people you will ever meet.
To the guy who wrote this "My wife is pretty angry, mainly because she is a woman that prefers the finer things in life--like 225 chanel sunglasses! Oh boy! There goes daddy's money! That being said, stay away from Annie's. You're much better off at Gold Star or possibly taco bell. Stay away." I say go EFF yourself buddy. I am glad you will never go back. A**holes like you don't deserve to eat there.
Everyone else, this is a Clark University and Worcester favorite... finding a better breakfast in the area is damn near impossible. Enjoy and tell them that Dork sent you.
PS- Megan and Casey (I hope I spelled you names correctly), you are awesome too!

I finally went to Annies this morning. I have heard soo much about it so I had some extra time and went with a coworker. It was not crowded (good thing because we didn't have THAT much time). Anyway, my coworker and I order egg sandwiches. Amazing is all I can say. No one else can make an egg sandwich like my mother and I have to say that this surpassed my mothers (shh). The staff was fantastic and friendly as can be. Even the customers coming in and out were just ...nice. Let's just say we enjoyed our breakfast and will be back for some more...soon!
p.s. the hashbrowns were sooo yummy!

I have been going to this restaurant for many years, and the truth is that it's more like eating at someone's house than a restaurant, and it comes with all the benefits of that as well. The walls are lined with pictures of the thousands of folks that have come through there, the clock has two humping pigs, the cook is full of character and love, and the place feels like somewhere you should spend your time.
if you're looking for a place that has soul and good eats, check it out.

As a member of the Annie's Clark Brunch Staff, I would like to promote that Annie's Clark Brunch has been given the honor of winning 2008 Worcester Magazine's Best Short-Order Cook and Best Waitress as well as Best Bang for your Buck and Best Lunch Spot... Ann's was a close runner up to the Goldstar for Best Breakfast. We'll get 'em next year.

Best Breakfast with the best atmosphere possible. Annie herself is a riot(see what happens if you order pancakes) and the other staff are just as great. I recommend the spicy steak hash omlette, but only if you REALLY want something incredibly spicy. I wish I lived close enough to eat here daily.

I went to Annies after reading about the place in the Worcester Magazine and I have been back approximately 5-6 times since. The atmosphere is great, the people are extremely friendly, and the waitress introduced me to an omelette that I have ordered multiple times. The place has a special made hot sause that really goes great with the breakfast. If you want to have breakfast with a great bunch of people amongst a very diverse crowd, Annie's is the place.

Annie's is amazing. The coffee is SO good. If you go when they open at 5:30, Annie will defenitely be there to make your breakfast just how you like. The customers as well as the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. You need to try this place.
If you're stuck up (ahem 225 Chanel Sunglasses) this is too good a place for you to have an open mind to and enjoy. Your loss.

I couldn't imagine a place I'd rather be on a Saturday morning. The food is great and it feels like home. I've been all over the country and have yet to find a breakfast that compares.

I was really disappointed by this diner which had so much promise from the outside: great location; run by biker chicks; cool wall decor, etc. . The coffee was rank. The potatoes tasted like they had been idling on the grill for hours. My dining partners were equally not impressed. Sorry, I was hoping to rave about this joint.

Best hamburger I've had in years, no joke. Honestly I was blown away. I am not a friend of the owner or even a regular in the place. I came back the next week and had an omlet, also excellent. My new favorite place in Worcester!

Annie's is the one hippest spots in Worcester. As neighborhood locals, we couldn't ask for more. The place can get busy but Annie will prepare anything you ask for and will make it anyway you like so if you're a newcomer, be specific.
It is not, I repeat not...a yuppie exit stop. I am not a vegetarian (my fault) but my instinct is that vegetarians are welcome and Annie would insure they felt at home.
The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. They do not impose so if you are a high maintenance character...this isn't the place for you. It a local place with a hodge-podge of furniture and customers but if you want a homey-friendly breakfast without pretension then this is the place.
Stop by..the experience is worth it.

Disgusting. The food took 45 minutes to arrive at my table. My wife, a kind individual, was absolutely livid (understandably so, dear!). Unfortunately, our food, ONCE IT FINALLY ARRIVED, tasted like it had been cooked by latrell spreewell. The homefries contained sausage, which we are both allerigic to. My omlett was overcooked on the outside and runny on the inside. Suffice to say, the entire meal was unedible. The staff failed to refill our coffee ....even ONCE. My wife is pretty angry, mainly because she is a woman that prefers the finer things in life--like 225 chanel sunglasses! Oh boy! There goes daddy's money!
That being said, stay away from Annie's. You're much better off at Gold Star or possibly taco bell. Stay away.

Amazing home cooked quality food, for mere pennies. A regular of most Clark University students, it is well-known for being fast, cheap, and delicious. Some even make it a daily trip!
