I worked at this establishment for 2 months, the owners decided they did not have to pay me. My first 2 checks have not cleared through the bank, and I was never given my third and final check. The owners are awful business men and are running this place into the ground. I am owed almost 3,000.00 currently. I no longer work there, for obvious reasons.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The French toast, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and sausage are amazing. Everything is amazing! The service is really fast, especially considering there's usually a line to get seated. Even if the area is packed, I've never had to wait longer than ten minutes to get seated. I believe they just recently changed the restaurant to no-smoking, so that's definitely added to my love for this place. I highly, HIGHLY recommend eating here!

The new owner is doing a great job following in Jeff's footsteps. Now there was a class act restaurant owner. My husband and I would go there every weekend if we could. He always gets the six egg potato omelet. And I go between the blintzes and the pancakes and meat combination. I have never had anything bad or cold there, ever. We will keep going back again and again.

The new owners have done a tremendous job turning this place around and the food is still the best and with what I hear, new ideas on the horizon.....can't wait!! Keep up the good job and we'll keep coming to Colonial Kitchen!

Unimpressed. My biscuits and gravy were OK, but my wife's french toast was weak. What really killed it was the table syrup was terrible. When we asked for real maple syrup, they didn't have any, at all, not even for an extra charge. Service was poor, although is was a busy weekend morning. We don't plan to go back. A trademark is their 6 egg omelettes. So, if you're looking for big omelettes, the Colonial Kitchen is worth checking out.

Colonial is the best! Great food. Great price. Experienced waitstaff, and the gravy is the BEST!!!! Try it on everything or just eat it plain. Wonderful food. Also, there is a guy that works there that wears a security shirt (I see him on the weekends) and he is HOT!!!

Every Friday this is our new restaurant of choice. Great staff and great breakfast. But best of all it is very inexpensive.

Colonial Kitchen is where Kalamazoo natives go to breakfast
It has good food, service and price. It is often noisey
especially on the weekend. there is often a line on the weekend.
