SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE. WENT THERE THURSDAY LATE MORNING. SAT DOWN WITH MENUS. HOSTESS WAS NICE. HOWEVER WE WATCHED THE WAIT STAFF STANDING AROUND GABBING AND JOKING FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES (THE PLACE WAS ALMOST EMPTY.) WE FINALLY ASKED THE HOSTESS FOR HELP AND THE WAITER FINALLY CAME. HE SAID HE WAS BUSY AND DIDN'T SEE US. WELL THAT WAS A LIE AS I HAD WATCHED HIM, SO WE LEFT. GUESS WHAT, WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! OR MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RELATE OUR EXPERIENCES.

I have to disagree with these ratings, when we ate there, the service was poor, the food was greasy and cold and the business was plain dirty. I saw the servers staying by the TV watching a show, ignoring their customers while they laughed and goofed off, I was not pleased. When I asked for a new plate of food because mine was cold and very greasy, our server was rude yet took my plate and returned with another, the food had been nuked and a fresh orange was placed on the plate. We have not returned since this happened.

Its one of my fav restaurants to eat at. The plate is overflowing, and excellent quality. I love the pancakes. Huge, thin and right off the griddle. THe biscuits are always bigger then a flock of birds could eat and the service is always with a smile.

They heap PLENTY of food on the plate! Coffee refills are generous. PLEASE DO YOURSELF a favor and ask for Kathy when you eat there! She is a fantastic person and a wonderful waitress! It's far from my home but because of her I make the trip! If it is Kathy's day off when you go, then ask for Red! She's great too!
