This place was called a "hippy" type place, but I did not expect such a "whatever dude" type service.

They refilled my coffee once.
The quiche had almost no egg in it.
The grits were horrible.
The only thing that was good was a chocolate chip crepe w/ razzberry sauce.

I was so angry about the lack of service and bad food I did not leave a tip.

Then today I check my credit card. They ADDED a tip for themselves.

If you have one morning to eat breakfast in Athens, I recommend Bluebird. There are plenty of great breakfast places in Athens but the food and the relaxed atmosphere make this the best choice.

Some might place it more towards the Hippy side on the Hippy-Healthy spectrum. They do have a great tofu scramble but I love their ommelettes too. And I haven't even made it to their pancake options.

It can get crowded on weekends and the one open room lends itself less to the solo lounging newspaper reading customer.
