This place is a nightmare. One of the dirtiest places I have ever seen. The service, what service? Terrible service, all trailer trash women who talk about things behind the counter in ear shot of customers that NO customer wants to hear. When I'm eating breakfast i don't want to hear about them shaving their legs and what not. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. I don't think any of them even know how to count to 10. Drink was never refilled, took so long to get my food once it was done it was cold. Waited extra five minutes just to pay.

Lost it's charm since the smoking ban, but still the best place to eat in Ohio. There's nothing like ordering two cheeseburgers and an apple fritter at 5AM and then walking over to The Backstrech Bar at 5:30AM for cocktails.

Not only is there now the smoking ban that makes the place a whole lot better, but the food is what keeps me going back. The employees are down to Earth and very nice. The atmosphere is just very welcoming and worth the trip. If you haven't been to Hamburger Inn, then you haven't experienced Delaware.

You cant get better home cooked food! I remember as a young girl I would get 2 cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate for 25 cents.

The food is good, cheap, and plentiful and the service is usually fine. However, cigarette smoke can kill the pleasure of the experience. This place stubbornly refuses to designate a smoking area, in spite of the fact that many of their former smoker patrons have passed away (check out the memorial on the back wall).
Most of their customers are nonsmokers nowadays, but they still get bathed in smoke from the minority.

they make the best fried cinnamon rolls you will ever eat and the sausage gravy and bisquits are the best also. everything is made fresh daily including their hamburger buns.
