Joe T's is a must try in Fort Worth. But if ya dont arrive early you WILL be standing in the line that usually extends outside. Generally moves quickly. Food is yummy- like the above said, 2 choices on the menu. They keep it pretty simple.

Joe T's is a Fort Worth institution. The food is good, and the service is good. I agree it is like being in Cancun. You do not go away hungary. The servings are hugh. The last time I was there, they did not take Credit cards, just Cash or Checks. Oh, they only have two items on the dinner menu. Fajits and Enchiladas Dinner.

Joe T's is a very cool place to hang out in the evening and knock back margaritas. It is so huge that you can plan a wedding reception there without a reservation. It is Charlie Daniel's favorite restaurant in the world (according to Country Music Weekly). But it is simply not a breakfast restaurant. Sitting in the shady outdoor seating in the morning with a cup of coffee is very peaceful, but stop with the coffee. Hang out till lunch and order the enchiladas.
This is a critical review, and I apologize if it is a drag. Besides the last review I did (of the Paris Coffee Shop) resulted in another person...who will remain unnamed but who also wrote the review below this one...implying that I was an employee of the restaurant. Fair and balanced reporting, well there ya go.

this place is the biggest rip off i have ever been to. the server did a horrible job. I ordered the migas based on the other review, and they were disgusting. This place is not a hidden treasure, it is a hidden dump.

The food is great, but's it all about the ambience...you'll feel like you're visiting a resort in Mexico when you take a stroll through the Fiesta Gardens (the size of a full city block). The place is enormous -- there's enough seating for 1000 people, but it's tucked away from the main street like the hidden treasure that it is. Great place to bring out-of-town guests, and well worth the drive from any location in the metroplex. Make sure you arrive about 15 minutes before they open to avoid the opening rush and to get a seat by the outdoor pool. Indoor seating is also available. Breakfast is served 11am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Migas are unique, made with chicken instead of the usual chorizo. Fajitas are served all day. Watch out: the margaritas pack a punch!
