This place has a lot of potential but I didn't think it was that good. I mostly eat breakfast out during the week and they only serve a breakfast gravy on the weekends :( So I tried the french toast the next day and the french toast is very unique it was like a pancake dipped in french toast batter and then cooked again??? The chicken fried steak in here was very good but again the no breakfast gravy keeps this place from getting 5 stars in my book. They do serve a chicken gravy on there dinner chicken fried steak which is very good though.

Good, typical breakfast joint. Have a full menu (no breakfast burrito). Good service, but the the feeling the building gives you is depressing (dark, gloomy, old...). I know it is a style for breakfast places not to remodel, ever, but I wish they would.

Nice, cheap, well-prepared breakfast. Friendly, chatty staff. Long counter to eat at and plenty of booths too. Our first visit. We'll be back

We go here often for breakfast on the weekends and although as others have said, there is a long wait for a table but the food is great.
Service has always been fantastic for us in fact they bring the food so fast we think they are telepathic.
Omelettes are always a favorite, I think since the are a constant, they always have one cooking just waiting to get a filling order.
CAN'T GO WRONG EATING HERE.

The food is good. Not Expensive! Steak and french toast are a plus. But the service needs help. We had a boy seat us that looked like he been up all night and didnt want to work with a huge attitude(saturday 12am).Waited 27 minutes to get seated for a party of 6. Staff looked stress because it was busy as always. But a good place to eat if you dont care about service and just about good food.

---- PLEASE READ ----
4 Items concerning this restaurant:
#1 - You MUST try their AMAZING French Toast. Battered and cooked like grandma makes. Fills the plate. Definitely the best French Toast I have ever had.
#2 - Order the Hashbrowns as a substitute for an item if yours doesn't come with them. Country Way has the flakiest, crunchiest most flavorful hashbrowns (that are made on the spot) I have had. Not shredded through a cheese grater, but flaked like chocolate. Its a definite MUST.
#3 - You'll never run short on coffee. I am a power drinker, and this is the only place I know that will keep my mug from being empty.
#4 - The food is dirt cheap here. You will always get your coffee filled, but don't expect the waiters to hang around and joke with you. They always seemed stressed (maybe because they're too busy all the time). I have just found that I rely on my own company, rather than seek out conversation with the staff.... I think the food makes up for it, in any case! I've eaten at far too many restaurants that serve crap to know the difference. Platefulls of food when you order their Breakfast Specials.

Wow! Went to the Country WAy on the suggestions of others from mrbreakfast.com and it was great.
They have huge servings and their steak is fantastic. I also recommend the omelletes, short stack, & italian sausage meals.
About 5 of us went so we got a chance to sample a good amount of the menu. The only dissapointments were:
1. Fresh fruit sucks. It's canned, and tasted like it.
2. OJ is expensive for a small amount. $2.50 for a miniscule glass that you can easily refill 4x. Starts to add up.
Also, there is a bit of a wait and you have to add yourself to the list. Come in between 9am-10am for a short wait Saturdays.
We got there around 10:15 with 6 people before us, by the time we were seated (about 10:40) there were over 18 people on the list behind us!!! This is pretty typical of any place in the area.. even the ihop has a 2 hour wait Sunday am.
So get up early & go experience the country way! Definitely worth it.

This place has been around for over 20 years. It is a family owned business. You get alot of food for a resonable price. The omlettes are the best.
