New Years Day 2011, went to the Summerlin Omelet House. Huge selection, huge amounts on the plate. Coffee was so so tasting, but enjoyable. My husband had the mile high omelete with swiss, I had the "sicilian sessa" omelete. My husband loved his omelet, lots of gooey swiss cheese. However, with my breakfast dish I found the marinara sauce bland and the sausage extremely mild and hardly any flavor. The owners coming from a chicago italian family and bland ingrediants was shocking for me. I guess I was expecting a bit more spice...like some basil and oregano to actually been seen and tasted in the sauce and sausage, but didn't see or taste anything of the sort :(
So the italian with me didn't work so well, maybe next time i'll try the Biskets and Gravy...I judge my resturants on italian flavors and ..well ...sausage gravy..but that is also my own opinion others may and will feel different. I wonder if that same sausage will be in the gravy? If it is, i'll be so heart broken, I really want to find something to love about this place...besides the most awesome homemade banana bread!!

The Omelet House, Garden Eatery has one of the best breakfasts you can get in Las Vegas. I would say this is Las Vegas's best kept little secret. The menu was impressive with over 35 different omelets to choose from along with pancakes, waffles, bisquits & gravy and some of the best fried potatoes/hashbrowns I've ever had. The atmosphere was very comfortable and reminded me of my Grandma's home with cute little knick-knacks everywhere. The service rivaled and outshined the best restaurants here on the Strip. The servers were friendly, the food was prepared fast and the quality was an overall delight. It was a LUCKY coincidence finding this little restaurant! Again...BEST BREAKFAST in LAS VEGAS!

They’re always at the top of the “Best of” Las Vegas lists – 7 years running in the Las Vegas Review Journal. I’ve only eaten at the Henderson branch, so that’s what my review’s based on.
Wonderful place for breakfast (in my top 2 for Las Vegas) with lots of “local” charm. Cheap and casual, the HUGE omelets will satisfy anyone’s hunger and then some – if you can’t handle 6 eggs, you can order any omelet as a “Baby Omelet for the smaller appetite” (3 eggs) for 75¢ less than the menu price.
Favorites:
“The Bugsy Siegel” An omelet you can’t refuse! Tender chunks of roast beef in an Italian red sauce, with sour cream and jack cheese. $6.99 – rich and sinful, you’ve been warned. This is a BIG, HEAVY omelet, but really good.
Stuffed French Toast – Thick egg bread with a spread of blueberry & cream cheese or apple & cream cheese, dipped in egg batter, grilled to a golden brown. $4.49 – Blueberry is amazing, apple is OK.
“Our Famous Fried Zucchini” With our special cheese sauce recipe or ranch dressing. 1/2 portion $3.99 full portion $6.29 – It’s not on the breakfast menu, but they’ll make it for you anytime, and it’s out of this world. Full portion is plenty to share between 2 or 3 people. My mom’s addicted.
I don’t drink coffee, but extra water, honey and lemon for hot tea is plentiful, and sometimes they “forget” to charge you for a 2nd tea bag.
