I have to say that the buzz on this place was quite good, which is why I was so disappointed. The service was good, if you like being served by Judge Judy. Efficient, NOT FRIENDLY.

The food was below average. I ordered a Portuguese omlette. They forgot the Portuguese. Adding cheese means throwing 2 small squares on top of the bland creation. The potatoes were equally as bland.

For the price, I expected MUCH more. I will disagree that the location is bad. Downtown New Bedford is nice, I think people need to let go of the obnoxious Dartmouth strip mall mentality, and enjoy the historic beauty of the old city.

I will also add that the restaurant is comfortable and clean. I just wish the kitchen would get their act together.
