why doesn't the phone number work? i tried to call the number to find out the hours and no one answered! the fax answered and we got no answer to our question

There is NO beating Cracker Barrel for quality, service, value, and $$$. I have breakfast at this CB at least twice a month and usually more often. The eggs are incredibly fresh (I think there may be a hen house out back!), the bacon is thick and crispy. The sourdough wheat toast is scrumptious. French toast isn't bread that's almost two inches thick (thank goodness)--it's sourdough that's "toasted" on the outside and smooth and hot inside. The maple syrup is REAL. The butter is REAL. Coffee is always hot and refills appear as if by magic. Servers will chat or not as the diner prefers. No one--and I mean NO ONE--is ever curt or surly.

A wonderful family restaurant.
