Ate here while driving through Phoenix; it was pretty darn good. They had a lot of variety and everything was seasoned well. The best was a piece of cherry cordial cake with chocolate frosting I took with me on the road. It will stare at you until you give in.

Brunchies has been our favorite for years. The chicken fried steak is very good. The "Southerner" is teriffic as is the biscuits and gravy. Brunchies has the best gravy around!

Food was really good. The Machaca Skillet is the awesome. The normal breakfast food is good but the Southwest flavor dishes like breakfast quesadilla are the best around.

Get the Mexican Chorizo skillet. It's made with fresh salsa, fresh torillas, chorizo, eggs, potatoes and seasonings. It's huge, very tasty and has a nice little bite to it. It's by far the best thing on the menu! Brunchie's is owned by the Serrano family who owns Serranos Mexican restaurants--a local favorite in the Phoenix area.

Brunchies is the kind of place that deserves to be shared with the rest of the world. On entering the resturant you will immediately recognize Brunchies as a comfortable and friendly place. The hostesses and servers are happy and move with quick feet.
The first rate bisquits and gravey are served up in a cast iron skillet. If you like pie you are in a good place. Do yourself a favor and try the apple or the peach.
Your first visit to Brunchies will not be your last.
