Yikes! I so looked forward to the mac banana pancakes & was seriously disappointed! Tough & flavorless. I guess if I had drown it w/ the coconut syrup they provided, I would not have noticed.

My hubby had an omlet & it was mediocre at best.

On the positive - a great location! Not only can you see the waves, you can hear them from the window tables. The marina in right there also for a quick snorkel or fishing trip.

The Pioneer Inn, on the island of Maui, has been around for well over a hundred years. It was originally built for the whalers when they would pull into Lahaina. I first went there in the 70's and was just recently there again. The restuarant serves up the best breakfast in Lahaina, and probably the entire island of Maui. Their mac nut, coconut, and banana pancakes are the BEST!! If you're ever on Maui, eat at the Pioneer Inn. You won't be disappointed!
