I've been going to the fox for 10 years now and have always loved the breakfast. And while the decor is awful it reminds me of home. Admittedly sometimes the service is terrible but it really depends which waitress you get. I have walked out when the waitress has been rude. That'll learn me to try to order food when all she wants is my drink order. But I go back because I love the chicken fried steak and sonoran skillet.

Review # 14521, was very obviously written by an owner. When you use the restroom you'll walk by the kitchen. Once seen you'll never eat there again. I called the health department!

staff is more concerned with one another than customers. i thought i had entered the set of deliverance. way too country! i think everyone there must be relaated-maybe more than once over. one of the most expensive places for breakfast. owner was very uppity. thinks his place is better than it is.

Folks in Tucson used to hunt this fox down on a regular basis (esp when they were hungry like a fox)!

Friends of ours that have been eating there for years(we now live in Bisbee AZ now and don't get to go there as often)said things have changed under new ownership. See other reviews.

The owner Rick came and sat down at our table. He bused dishes poured coffee and personally delivered our food to the table. I even saw him hug his cook. Food was fast, hot and I was allowed substutions for a minimal charge. Whats not to like? Double yoked eggs, home made bread and a mound of hash browns. If you like breakfast, this is the place. Wouldn't doubt Aunt Bee works there too. Warning, they are busy, you'll soon taste why.

We have gone into this restaurant for years and really liked the meatloaf the the outstanding gravy.

Something has gone wrong. The last time we were there, a very snippy woman was at the cash register, and today the meatloaf was not thick sliced and juicy, and the gravey was only passable.

Is there a new owner, or what.

We will not be in a hurry to go back.

One of the last double yolk restaurants in Tucson. This place has been open since LBJ was president, and owned by the same family which makes it one of Tucson's oldest breakfast joints. I like this place because of the friendly service, and the top quality food. If you go on Sunday, make sure to go early otherwise you'll have to wait a bit. Very senior citizen friendly too.
